ST. FRANCIS XAVIER SCHOOL
LAGRANGE, IL
During the last school year, 2015-16, St. Francis Xavier School took multiple steps to implement our commitment to facilitating innovative and effective 21st Century learning, and engage our students using digital learning technology. All students in Grade 4-8 will have school-owned Chromebooks along with Google User ID’s and passwords, allowing students access to school-owned Google Apps for Education and Drive. Students in Grades 2-3 have had daily access to iPads in their classrooms on a 2:1 ratio. Grade 1 students have now moved to the Main Campus and we will be adding iPads to their classrooms. Our younger students at the East Campus will continue utilizing the in classroom iPods and Macbooks along with the addition of a rolling cart outfitted with Macbooks for the use of students. Last year's installation of an upgraded secure Wi-Fi network and the addition of two full-time technology coaches are all examples of St. Francis Xavier School’s focus on improving student learning outcomes by using technology to engage in greater student-centric learning.
